Weekend Camp-out in Albion Basin (Little Cottonwood Canyon)

Last weekend we had the chance to join my family in one of the most beautiful places ON EARTH. I love going to Albion Basin every summer because it is covered in wild flowers! This place is amazing. While Carter was working, I took the bitty boy into Little Cottonwood Canyon up to Albion Basin (Alta ski resort without the snow ;).

We come up here every year with extended family during the peak wildflower season. Sea for yourself why we keep coming back…

You can also check out this post to see these beautiful photos taken by our cousin @jonnyhill_uk back before we got married. I die over these photos!

Words cannot express my love for wildflowers. They are unique, vibrant, and so strong. They grow on their own in the least expected places. They grow the most plentifully after heavy snows. I feel like wildflowers are the paints our Heavenly Mother used to decorate the earth with her loving touch ♥. I dream of living in a home surrounded by wildflowers.

Side note: I LOVE hiking in my Boppy ComfyFit Baby Carrier (in the photo below). This thing is SO comfortable. The fabric is like yoga pants so I’m a HUGE fan. Click here to read more about the Boppy ComfyFit Carrier

I captured ths gem at the top of Katherine’s Pass, overlooking the lakes. Peter gave the cutest smile at the perfect time!
